My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were nicely decorated and modern with a great bathroom and decent size, but unfortunately not as clean as expected, and there were issues with the temperature. The service was quite unfriendly, which was disappointing for a 5-star hotel. On the bright side, the location was excellent, right next to Friedrichstrasse train station, making it easy to explore Berlin. The dining experience was good overall, with clear labeling of ingredients, but limited vegan options. Despite the setbacks, I had a decent stay with some notable positives and negatives.
Even though the rooms weren't as clean as expected, they were of excellent quality and quite spacious. The hotel was always a bit too hot for my liking, but it was overall a decent stay. The service had its moments of being a little rude and unaccommodating, particularly in the lobby that felt soulless and occasionally dirty, but they were generally helpful despite some tone issues. The location was a highlight, being lively and interesting, right beside S and U-Bahn stations, and close to various attractions. Although the dining options weren't ideal due to the heavy reliance on pork, the food was delicious with plenty of choices available until 11 am on weekends, albeit a bit pricey.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms are super comfy despite the extra charge for the lobby window. The service, though a bit challenging with the English communication, was still satisfactory. The central location made it a breeze to explore Berlin. The dining experience, while offering a huge variety, had some disappointments in breakfast options. Overall, a great choice for a weeklong stay in the midst of a heatwave.
The hotel stole my money! The room was large with floor to ceiling windows, making it bright and airy. However, it was very regular. The service was very helpful, but they made excuses about 'technical issues'. The location was very close to the center, perfect for exploring the city. The dining was delicious, with plenty of food choices. Overall, it was a generally fantastic stay.
My stay at the hotel was really convenient as it is located right opposite the train station, making it super easy to get around. The room was quiet and spacious, although it could have been slightly larger. The warm nights made me wish for a lighter blanket instead of the heavy Doona a couple of times.
